When I am dead, I would like to be remembered as being the innocent victim of a conspiracy to murder by the United States government and their criminal associates. If I stop posting entries on this blog, I will only do so after that being made known here to you, the reader. -- 24/1/12 (NOTE: Blogger froze on me mysteriously and I unwittingly deleted my old welcome message, I had to make up another one.)

New year's eve

Its that time again!  A past year is forgotten (me, at least) and a new one begins.

2011 will be more of the same.  Terrorism, or rather an insurgency in Iraq and Afghanistan that won't go away.  More terrorism, but from that murderous tyrant god.  New Zealand is hosting the IRB rugby world cup.  It will be mainly played at a stadium called Eden Park.  Are Al-Qaeda planning on suiting up their suicide bombing vests for that one?

2011 will mark the ten year anniversary of 9/11 - in September - on the eleventh.  Who knows?  Perhaps the war on terrorism will end "at a date and time of our choosing" just like Dubya said.  Then, the United States will move on to their next enemy.  Go back to fighting communists?  It seems that that country wants a new enemy every ten years.  I know that those clowns in the Central Intelligence Agency can't help but keep the Osama Bin Laden nightmare alive because of partly their alliance to the mob.  What?

Like Lennon said too,"Another year over and a new one just begun."  In that song, he also asks,"What have you done?".

Corrections and clarifications

  • Yuke's Media are the developers of the underwhelming Smackdown VS. Raw 2011.
  • Little Rio or New Rio?  Take your damn pick.  But me moving out of this unfriendly town seems promising.
  • Please, if someone could, let me use your computer to do my Xbox 360 movie editing.  Contact details can be found on the Countdown customer service board.
  • A Nazi kid?  You better believe it.  I saw a ten year old do a Nazi salute today.  A once in a lifetime moment, if I had my camera.  I was on a bus by the beach.
  • I have been thinking about starting a new blog devoted to computer gaming.
  • Finally, a question.  If pussy is like a jellybean - which colour does it taste like?  Because I don't know.

WWE Smackdown VS. Raw 2011 Review

Games are continuing to change.  The people who make them, developers, are always finding new ways to present them.  With that, it is why in Smackdown VS. Raw 2011 you get straight in the ring as practice (once you get past all the load screens) then unlock 10g if you complete all the moves.

For those new to the WWE franchise, something like that is helpful.  But experienced WWE gamers like myself could even find it helpful too.

Debuting in the 2010 update, the storyline creator, has not been dropped for 2011.  Smackdown VS. Raw 2011 can apparently boast the largest roster compared to any WWE game before it.  It could be 2014 until we can simulate an x-rated nude mud wrestling match between created superstars Mariah Carey and Beyonce Knowles for the Queen of Pop Diva title.  Then, with the new 'WWE family first policy' - no chance!

The beauty of WWE games is any search online with the keywords, CAW smackdown raw xbox, you should find the games have created a community that helps you to go so far to create your dream matches.  The information you need to create your characters to put inside the game are all there on those sites.

CAW means, create a wrestler.  But, like almost everything else on this blog, its probably unreliable and wrong.

The default controls remain the same unless you change them.  B and left stick for an Irish whip for instance.  My first gripe is with the visuals.  Figures really do look like something out of like Wallace and Gromit - unlike what they appeared in 2009 or 2010.  The clayness of the characters make the simulation less realistic.  I think though, unsuccessfully, realism is what they were trying to achieve.

"Why are you hitting yourself?  Are you mad at yourself?"

The menu buttons look lame.  But it is weird how I say that yet in 2009 the main options were just large bolded white text that gave an arcade feel.  The other options are even more simpler in that version.  The keep it simple stupid (KISS) idea must have worked.

Maybe there could be an ability to throw your opponent over the barrier then fight amongst the crowd?  Also, new and unusual weapons in hardcore matches could jazz up the game.  For now, I've created former WCW superstar Bill Goldberg.  The muscle who had pretty much every other wrestler on the WCW roster job to him.  Which if you know the business, means, give away wins for the credibility sake of your opponent by accepting the request of management to be defeated.  Yes, the concept was have some former bald footballer dude come in, enter matches, spear, jackhammer then go away with the victory every one hundred and sixty or so times without being defeated once.  It was brash, but it worked.  Most matches only lasted under thirty seconds which made jobbing all the more obvious.

The nitty gritty of Smackdown VS. Raw 2011 would have to be an exhibition match.  Playing what this game is all about though, feels lame and extremely awkward.  The gameplay moves so quickly, it is not like a televised match on what is now called 'WWE HD', but like a film being fast forwarded without the ripples.  What makes part of that description are the cameras that come in from all angles when you do a signature or finishing move.  Combined with the play-doh wrestlers it is well, something else.

I really do think THQ must do this on purpose and that is fuck up a franchise that I thought was going strong until the 2009 game.  There is a likelihood that the game may need more time to grow on me but at the date of this review?  I strongly recommend purchasing the 2009 game and find out how better of a simulator it is compared to this.

Roid rage.

Official Xbox Magazine gave the game a six.  I will join and stand by that.

Home again

I saw more Asians and European cars that I could shake a stick at.  I even saw some quite attractive Asian women.  I think Auckland is small but at the same time, the city is big.  It must be the efficient roading because you can travel from one side to the other, by my count, in over twenty minutes.

Nothing much has changed since I explored in 2003.  However, I noticed new apartment buildings, new roads and bridges.  I actually didn't take many photos.

I am happy to be back but it is raining.  I am undecided whether that is a good or bad thing for my mood.

Ho ho ho...

Christmas Eve.  There is an unusual quietness here in little Rio, the beaches are empty.  If this makes it online, a tsunami didn't hit between now and then.  But, tsunami's?  Even if a huge one did hit I think we would all survive - the wave just wouldn't reach us.  That's my theory anyway.  Make what you want of it.  One might have the apocalyptic scenario of '2012' enter the mind.  But unless there is another asteroid (or meteorite?), forget it.

The family relationship between me and my mother will never be the same again.  I think I respect her more than my father but why do I feel this way?  She has kept more than her fair share of secrets from me.  Like, a little harmless secret?  Sure.  But secrets so big that go so far to explainining your life should not be taken lightly.  The outsiders I have spoken of?  The nerve of them to expect me to grow up as a fool - not knowing the truth.  Anyway, there is a rift between me, my parents and the righteous outsiders who have a history with them both.  Also me, but I think we all know how those assholes really feel about the three of us.

Oh well, Auckland here we come.

Charges dropped?

I should commit crimes more often.  I can't believe what the New Zealand Police have done.

If this is true, then I'm a free man.  But not entirely.  I still have to defend myself against destruction of Ministry of Social Development property.  One thing I haven't made known on this blog is that there is this one dude living here that hates me.  And I hate him.  What am I saying?  Everyone hates me!  But there is the head of his Freemasonry cult that thinks and says I'm evil.  Well, to make his world domination campaign easier... its probably true.  Anyway, there is a war on right now against people like me.  Or is it just me?  Another thing is he likens himself to Barack Obama.  Or Barack Obama likens himself to him.  Or whatever.  And do you know what else?  I am actually on the presidents hit list.  It is why I have gotten into trouble.  I mean, hey, the president himself will use his doublespeak to speak to you personally.  He said,"I want you to know that you're not alone.".  During the United States worst ever natural disaster!  The BP oil spill!  I mean, that is crazy.

I have to defend myself against destroying government property.  I could touch on the second 2pac versus Notorious B.I.G. gang war if I want to.  That's what it is to them.  Black bald man and his thousands,  I mean... thousands of loyalists who will trip over themselves to please him.  As for me?  I want my life back when it was taken away from me in 1988 and questions could begin with the United States government.  If he wants the world so much, he can have it.

Playing with myself

The Microsoft Kinect,"A revolution in gaming.".  Okay, so every game for the peripheral is gay but Microsoft is trying to change how and why people game.  The Kinect is bringing in a new audience like your mom and dad.  With that, then, it is why I probably won't be playing.

The game I really want is Smackdown vs. Raw 2010.  In that, you can customise the game so much.  I used to own 2009 and I have about a dozen movies on my memory unit that I made up - one of Shelton Benjamin face first on a concrete floor.

But, 2010 is just under a hundred dollars.  Way too expensive!  2011 is a new release and that's about fifteen dollars more!

Maybe playing my Xbox 360 has become a chore?  I think I'm still undecided on that one.  I miss Tristan.  Official Xbox Magazine will never be the same without him.
