This year is the tenth anniversary of The Sims. But I could be the very first to point out the game as being racist. Your sims say things like,"Impala" referring to a popular, what can be considered old school car that is modified and driven by Latinos. In the same sentence,"Tequila". A Latin alcoholic drink. Your sim can say this when in distress and faces the sky then waves at you.
I know an Internet handle of "amursim". Which is suppost to read when translated... I am your sim. This, who is obviously a hacker claimed to have made up a patch to remove the blurred censor of naked sims when cleaning themselves and when they use a toilet. He also went further than that by painting nude 'skins' that are pretty much pictures that can be made up in Photoshop to display sims and even coding the figures to perform sex acts.
Whether or not amursim did that to prove something is anybodys guess.
